I grew up in Salem, OR. I have great parents who still live in the same home I was raised in, along with a twin brother and an older sister. In 2003, I graduated cum laude from UC San Diego in La Jolla, CA. Upon graduating, I immediately began originating loans as a mortgage broker in California. While doing so, I applied and was accepted into law school with aspirations in real estate law. However, I put law school plans on "hold" as I was enjoying my time as a loan officer. I haven't looked back since.
